Three years ago, Fantasy+ was born from community requests.

We had seen tremendously positive feedback regarding our Fantasy Complete series, and it quickly became clear that an application was needed to manage this vast library of sounds.

Since then, we have invested every drop of resource we’ve had: financial, mental, emotional, and otherwise. We’ve not taken a single day off in four years! :)

But, the reality remains: our resources are extremely limited. In order to turn Fantasy+ into what it could be especially sooner rather than later, we’ll need to work together!

Here are some of the key quests that we’ll need to complete in order to optimize the most powerful audio resource in TTRPG history.

Application Rebuild

Currently, Fantasy+ holds an amazing 1,000+ concurrent users. Now that we’ve reached the proof-of concept stage, Fantasy+ needs to be rebuilt from the ground up with more modern code.

The rebuild process is the optimal window to add community-requested features, such as: audio crossfading, metatags findable via search, updated room share, etc. The rebuild stage is also the window of opportunity to integrate API changes -- this will enable Fantasy+ to be compatible with your favorite VTTs. By the time we possess the resources to begin this stage of work, we will have logged more of your requests. All changes, past, present, and future, are based upon community feedback.

Library Expansion

In the end, Fantasy+ shouldn’t be home to only Monument’s audio. While we’ve amassed a significant library of over 5,000 audio files, we would like to license work from other creators to further diversify the library’s sonic range. This will also require significant financial resources.

Over the last several years, Fantasy+ has come a long way. No matter how far we go, the price of $4.99 will never change, nor will we offer microtransactions for content.
